Reconstruction of Viliage Kausamghat This smaii village, being the etricentre, was worst affected during the earthquake. Most of the houses had mud and thatch construction and over 90 per cent of the houses were damaged. Since the village was situated in an unfavourable location and prone to flooding during monsoons, it was felt desirable to relocate the village.
